It is a small village near Nainital in Uttarakhand state of India. Maharaj jI established small Ashram here by the side of the river in 1960. He dedicated the temple to Lord Hanuman Ji.
Its a small beautiful Temple surrounded by high mountains bt the side of a river stream. When you enter you will find devotees sitting on the floor within the premises chanting and meditating on Hanuman Chalisa the holy scripture containing the sacred verses of Lord Hanuman Ji.

Who is Neeb Karoli Baba?
Known by the name of Maharaj Ji by the followers, Baba was a Hindu Guru and a sheer devotee of Deity Hanuman Ji. He was a very simple man living a simple life at that time. But due to his magical blessings many local people experienced his magical powers in healing their local problems at that time. That is how he became popular in the area and later all over India and abroad too. People from across the globe visiting this place to seek his blessings.
One of his notable disciples was Baba Ramdas, Harvard University Professor who later led the spiritual movement in the western world after the death of Baba Neeb Karoli in 1973.

Neeb Karoli Baba was born as Lakshman Narayan Sharma in Ferozabad, Uttar Pradesh. He belonged to a well off Brahmin family. However, he left the village out of a spark of spiritual curiosity and wandered from place to place some some years.
In not so early years of his life, he left the comforts of his life and became sadhu or the holy man travelling across India. He travelled to many holy places in India seeking guidance from different spiritual masters.
He lived in a small village called Neeb Karoli while traveling and was known thereafter as Neeb Karoli Baba.
